It has been a very exciting year here at Styer Propane! We must admit that we are pleased that it was not as exciting as a few winters ago with the relentless ice and snow. That particular excitement is not one we would wish to see again anytime soon. We feel very blessed to have the continued support and trust of our customers and business partners in the community and beyond. We strive everyday to deliver a high level of service to which we are proud to lend our name.
Speaking of that high level of service, we would be remiss in not recognizing the tireless efforts of our staff. Our office folks, drivers, techs and sales staff are some of the finest professionals in the industry anywhere and we cannot say enough about their continued dedication and grace. It is due to their hard work that we are able to offer folks all over the Delaware Valley such great service year after year. Thank you folks! It has been our pleasure to work alongside you this past year and we are looking forward to doing so again in 2016!
Happy New Year to everyone out there! We can’t wait to see you next year!
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? It’s a question we hear a lot this time of the year and surely it is best to truly stop and consider the response.
At Styer Propane, we would be remiss in not starting out with mentioning you, our clients. Over our several decades in the business, we are fortunate to have developed relationships with some of the finest folks in Southeaster PA. Homeowners, business owners, farmers, you name it. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve your needs year in and year out.
We are thankful for our amazing staff. The past few winter seasons have truly tested the limits of what a service business like ours is capable of. Icy driveways, power outages and potholes as far as the eye could see. And our office staff and service professionals showed up each and every day to represent our business and serve our customers as well as anyone could ever ask. We think they are the best.
Finally, the reason we do what we do everyday. We are thankful for family. Our families are the most important parts of our world. We love them dearly and look forward to this holiday season spending time with them.
We will be closed on Thanksgiving this year to spend time with our families. We will be back open for regular hours on Friday, November 27th to resume serving our loyal and new customers alike throughout the remainder of 2015 and into 2016!
As we begin to see overnight lows in the 40s, there is no denying that Fall is upon us. It is a fabulous time of the year as Chester County and the surrounding area seems to turn a glorious yellow-orange everywhere you look. In addition to using propane to heat your home this time of the year, we are often eager to remind folks that there are a number of other great uses for our product during the chillier months on the calendar.
First of all, propane patio heaters are a wonderful way to extend the outdoor season and increase the usability of the outdoor living spaces on your property. Safe and warm, these beautiful and brilliant pieces of equipment can be purchased online or at nearly any hardware store or home center.
Speaking of heat, propane firepits are all the rage right now among suburban and country homeowners. Like patio heaters, they are a favorite of those who take to the patio or back yard for their recreation. It is quite joy to enjoy a crisp fall evening in an Adirondack chair next to one of these marvels.
In addition to these wonderful contraptions, don’t forget your backyard grill can still serve as your most popular appliance year round. At Styer Propane, we are obviously huge fans of this versatile and efficient brand of energy. We hope are too…all year long!
Oh no! We are already packing up the beach chairs and putting them back in the garage for another eight months. How can this be? Indeed it is almost Labor Day and for those of you early risers, you may have noticed that sunrise is getting later and later these past few months. So, as we head towards the last remaining days of the summer season, keep in mind that it will not be long until cool nights return to the Delaware Valley. Keep in mind also that there are only a few remaining weeks in which customers can take advantage of our Pre-Buy program for the 2015-2016 season. We hope everyone enjoys the coming Labor Day Weekend and we look forward to serving all of you as we head into these chillier seasons ahead.
It’s always nice to be able swap out an old appliance in your home. A new clean, energy efficient washer or dryer is always a welcome addition to the household. Did you know that you should give Styer Propane a call when you have certain new appliances installed at your home? If a new appliance is hooked up to the propane pipes in your home, or if the piping is changed in any way by a builder, HVAC contractor or other installer, you should call our offices to schedule a leak check at your home. Our techs will be out to your property soon after to perform a safety check for propane leaks. Remember, as always, safety first!
Styer Propane, LLC will be CLOSED on April 3rd in honor of Good Friday.
We wish you a blessed Easter holiday. Please plan your propane needs accordingly.
At Styer Propane, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve your propane needs year round. However, there are a few special days out the the year in which we feel that our hardworking staff would do best to be at home with family. We appreciate your understanding and wish all of you a blessed Easter and look forward to your continued business.
We are thrilled that this winter has been much kinder than the winter of 2013-2014. However, we have had enough winter weather to make it difficult at times for our trucks to get up icy and uncleared driveways. Our most difficult challenges are those driveways that have gone uncleared and where snow has been packed down over a few days. We request that any customers requesting service for the remainder of winter please take care to see driveways and walkways be cleared for the safety of our drivers. We thank you all in advance for our cooperation.
The year that was 2014 was a wild one for sure. Certainly, making it through the winter tested the strength of our equipment, the nerve of our drivers and the patience of pretty much everyone in the Delaware Valley. This past year was a great year for all of us here at Styer Propane and it is all due to our fabulous customers and amazing staff. We would like to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year as we look forward to serving all of your propane needs in 2015!
Given how tough last winter was, it is alarming to think that the cold temperatures are already beginning to creep into the Delaware Valley. It feels like we just got finished shoveling from the last storm in late March!
Some meteorologists are already predicting that this upcoming winter may bring Southeastern Pennsylvania another difficult season of bitter cold and high snow totals. As long as roads are not significantly choked off with ice and downed trees as they were at times last winter, Styer Propane should have no problems servicing our customers anywhere in Berks, Delaware, Montgomery and Chester Counties.
This winter, please do remember that when it snows to be sure your driveway is shoveled and that there is a clear path to a well marked propane tank so that our drivers can access your propane fill with reasonable ease. We appreciate your business and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
