We are enjoying this stretch of sizzling summer weather in the Delaware Valley and we hope you are as well. Hopefully, someone has saved you a beach chair under an umbrella somewhere in the sand or a nice spot by a pool at your favorite place to cool off. Summer is a little slow here as many of you know. Winter time is really our busiest time for certain. So that our employees can get some well earned time with family this weekend, we would like to pass along that Styer Propane will be closed both Friday, July 2nd and Monday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day. We ask that Customers please plan their propane needs accordingly.
Here at Styer Propane, we could not be happier that summer is upon us and we are ecstatic that things are starting to get back to normal throughout the communities that we serve. This summer promises to be extra special given that we are well on our way to seeing one another again. It will be a thrill to enjoy picnics, sporting events and vacations without restriction or concern over the health of friends and family.
Right now, we are wrapping up our Budget offer for the season. May is the time to call regarding budget pricing. If you have yet to do so, we recommend calling us this week to determine if Budget is right for your home (and budget).
We know that a lot of folks are going to use the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend as an opportunity to get to the beach, the lake or, at the very least, the backyard. As we mentioned previously, we are all so long overdue in being able to do this without worry. As you gather and recreate this weekend, please also remember those who gave their lives in service to this great nation. The freedoms we enjoy continue to be the foundation of what makes this country great and they only are available to us due the sacrifices of so many brave young men and women who gave their lives so that we could be free.
Our Budget plan runs for 12 months and starts in May each year. The intent of the plan is to enable customers to make regular payments to their account so that deliveries are more affordable during the high-usage months of the year.
The pandemic has had a different effect on household budgets for a lot of the customers we serve. At Styer Propane, we try to do everything we can to work with customers so that they can best understand and manage their energy costs throughout the year. To learn more about the Styer Propane Budget Plan, visit the Budget Plan page of this site and reach out to our office weekdays during regular business hours so we can best determine a budget strategy for your household.
Styer Propane is dedicated to the highest standard of customer satisfaction. We look forward to working together to finding a solution that works best for you.

We hope everyone is off to a very enjoyable Spring! So far, the weather has been fairly enjoyable and it would appear that we have fully escaped the worst of Winter 2020-21. Beyond that, we are very much looking forward to “getting back to normal” and seeing you all again very soon.
A quick note — we would like to remind everyone that Styer Propane offices will be closed this Friday, April 2nd in observance of Good Friday. We hope that all of our friends out there have a wonderful Easter and we look forward to serving you again very soon!
This winter has been a bit of a feisty one so far as it pertains to weather. Some of the winter storms we have gotten in our serving area have ranged from nuisance to significant to severe, with snow, sleet, freezing rain and wind all playing a part in challenging our efforts to serve customers throughout the Delaware Valley. With that, we would like to extend our thanks to the many customers who have done much to help keep our drivers and technicians safe. We greatly appreciate hearing from our guys how often they are seeing cleared driveways and walkways as they do their best to get to each and every home and business on their route each day. We thank you all and pass along the gratitude of some very hard working drivers and techs.
Warm regards,
The Management & Staff at Styer Propane
It looks as though we have some significant snow in the forecast for this weekend into Monday. We remind clients that our drivers cannot safely deliver to driveways that are not safely passable. If a driveway has a significant amount of uncleared ice or snow, specifically if it is on any sort of incline, please be aware that our drivers will not be able to make a delivery until conditions change. Accordingly, we ask that customers expecting deliveries please clear snow from driveways and tank covers prior to a driver’s arrival. We also would appreciate it if customers would please shovel a path to the tank or tank fill so that our drivers have an opportunity to easily find and fill your propane as they make their way to all customers during times of rough weather. For those customers with underground tanks, we kindly ask you to mark your tanks with a stick, a flag or some sort of marker that our drivers can easily recognize when they visit your property for a propane delivery.
Thank you all in advance!
We may be a little biased, but we don’t know of anywhere that matches up to the beauty of Chester County around Christmas. This holiday season seems a little extra special as, well, folks in our communities have certainly been through a good deal this year, and what better than the joy and spirit of the season to bring out the best in all of us? If you still have yet to do a nice Christmas light drive with the kiddos, we suggest you get it in before it is too late. So many neighborhoods have gone above and beyond this year. It’s truly wonderful.
Here at Styer Propane, we love Christmastime. And, while many of us may not be able to enjoy as much time together this year than in years past, we know that any time with family and friends is more valuable than ever. Our offices will be closing early on December 24, closed on December 25th and January 1st so that our staff can spend time with their loved ones. We do ask that will-call customers note our holiday schedule as you assess your propane needs.
We would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and good health in the New Year. We thank you for your continued support of our small business and we look forward to serving you in 2021!
If 2020 has reminded us of anything, it is that during challenging times, there is still much to be thankful for. Friends and family. Incredible employees, vendors and customers. This year, like everything else, the holidays will be a bit different for most of us. We would like to wish all of you a very special and Happy Thanksgiving! Please note that our office will be closed on Thursday, November 26th so that our folks can spend the holiday with their families.
It is important for us to note also that the chilly winter temps are not too far away. Remember that though you may not have had too many tank fills throughout the year so far, your home uses more propane when temperatures outside are lower. Accordingly, for those on Will-Call, it is important for to call in orders when tanks are at 35%. Don’t wait until your tank is critically low or you risk running out!
Winter Weather and Styer Service
This winter we also remind clients that our drivers cannot safely deliver to driveways that are not safely passable. We thank all of you for helping us to ensure save deliveries year after year and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
There is no question that we are at the beginning of our busy season once we begin to see the Halloween decorations begin to pop up throughout Chester County and the surrounding area. We enjoy this time of year for so many reasons. First, it must be said that the fall foliage throughout our communities reminds us how blessed we are to live where we do. It’s just so beautiful. Fall is also when we begin hearing from more of our great customers! Most of you really don’t need us throughout most of the summer months and we are back in full gear this time of year to serve all of your propane needs.
This weekend is a great weekend with friends and community. And, though things will inevitably be a little different this year, we urge everyone to stay safe and have fun. Speaking of safety, don’t forget to check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors this weekend when you set your clocks back.
Once again, all of us at Styer Propane would like to wish everyone out there a Happy Halloween!
